Hello I'm Gene A very experienced, well rounded, highly skilled, extensively equipped remodel/frame carpenter seeks a new gig. The manufactured home park I have been rehabbing homes in for a year and 3 months has cut me loose for calling in sick (only the third call off in 15 months) and mistakenly placing the call to the wrong number. I thought given my seniority and hard working dedication they might be compassionate and understanding, but they were not. So here I am at your disposal. To be honest, I was way over qualified for their caulk and paint style of remodeling. The new foreman (hired a month and a half ago) I think felt threatened by my skill level and experience, so I had to go. Having around 30 yrs experience there's not much I haven't done but I'm always glad to learn new things. Some might think, hey doesn't that make you too old to do this work but that's only until they put bags on and work along with me.
