ProGlaze Solutions is a local bathroom and countertop resurfacing company committed to providing a high-quality, cost-effective re-glazing alternative to the high cost of replacement for our customers. Using a patented adhesive coating and synthetic porcelain finish that is second to none, we are able to transform and look and function of tubs, showers, and tile counter surfaces to perfection while offering one of the best warranties in the industry! Because ProGlaze prides itself on the utmost in professionalism, quality, and efficiency, we are looking for at least one additional labor assistant to collaborate with our main technician on larger jobs. This project-based bathroom renovations assistant would: - Work directly with the head technician on installations - Prepare the work area(s) for resurfacing, including cleaning and repairing cracks, and/or stripping old resurfacing materials. - Perform tasks (with all training provided on-site) related to the reglazing/resurfacing process, following instructions from the lead technician to perfection - Lift/move equipment necessary for the process - Be required to arrive on time and with a professional appearance for all projects - Have a mode of transportation to commute to project sites and/or meeting the head technician before each job Qualified applicants will: - Have an eye for detail and be comfortable working in small spaces with a moderate amount of lifting and standing for extended periods of time. - Will preferably have a background in auto detailing/paint or other detail-oriented or light labor work history - Have a flexible schedule and be willing to work on a project basis - Possess a high degree of reliability and professionalism - Be open/willing to learn and follow detailed instructions. - No prior bathroom renovation experience necessary; all training will be provided on-site. We are looking for the right person who takes pride in their work and values getting it perfect the first time, every time. Pay rate based on qualifications and skills of applicant. Approximate range $9-$12 per hour, with opportunity for profit sharing above and beyond hourly rate for exceptional performance. Assigned jobs will be on a contract basis, as needed, currently looking at approximately 20 hours per week, with the possibility for full-time work as well as opportunity to apprentice to become a technician.
