Renovator Job in Takoma Park, Maryland

This is for the renovation of a house in Takoma Park. The project is on-going and is about mid-course, and the one variable that is the most flexible is timing and calendar (this project has been going on for years). I am looking for a contractor for various sub-projects, such as framing, installing windows and external French doors, tiling, gutters, etc. I am also looking for someone with experience in home renovation to advise on the process and assist me in the management and supervision of the work. I have an architect working with me, but I have had bad experiences with general contractors, which is why I decided to manage the project myself as much as possible. Idea profile would be a retired building project manager.
