Across the Board Contracting, LLC has over 40 years experience with the design build approach to new construction and renovations. We custom design new homes and alterations to existing dwellings tailored to the needs of each client and provide each and every aspect of construction from permit application to turning over the new keys of the completed project. We moved twelve years ago from the Northern Virginia - Washington DC Metropolitan area to the Outer Banks to deliver the positive ethics of hard work and close communication for owners who are absent for most of the project schedule and need to rely on the integrity of local builders with big city attitudes. Our sub-contractors and trades people have been working along side of us for a decade forming a strong relationship of dependability and quality craftsmanship. Our relationships with clients often continue for years as we work through long range projects and general maintenance of properties that need to survive the brutal environmental conditions of seaside corrosion and hurricane winds. Roughly half of our current clients are people we have been working with for years and years and much of the rest come to us from positive reviews by local real estate agents, property management companies and lending institutions who are the only points of contact for absentee owners. While we have extensive experience working on rental properties we have also built or renovated private homes for those people looking to move to and eventually retire in Outer Banks.
